SHIM 2012

SHIM2012 is the eighth International Symposium in a series started in 1989 in Caen (France), aiming to prompt interdisciplinary exchanges between scientists in a variety of radiation sciences such as atomic physics, radiation physics, radiation effects in condensed matter, radiation biology and medicine, and atomtechnology. SHIM focuses on all aspects of phenomena induced by high electronic excitation stimulated by interactions of swift charged particles with matter. The scientific program includes both fundamental and applied researches in theory and experiment.

PARALLEL CONFERENCE

SHIM2012 will be held in parallel with ICACS-25, International Conference on Atomic Collisions in Solids. SHIM2012 and ICACS-25 will take place in the same venue with an overlap of two days (24th, 25th). We will have several joint sessions (oral and poster) and joint social events as well. ICACS-25 starts two days earlier. The participants can attend all sessions of ICACS-25 without any additional fee.
